Hiking in Lugano with Alex

Monte Brè is one of Lugano’s most iconic peaks—sunny​,​ quiet​,​ and blessed with spectacular views over the city​,​ Lake Lugano​,​ and the Prealps. Starting from the charming village of Brè​,​ we will follow forest paths and gentle open slopes that lead us toward panoramic clearings overlooking the lake. Our route winds through peaceful woods and viewpoints until we reach a scenic spot ideal for our lunch break​,​ where we can relax and admire the winter landscapes stretching from Monte Boglia to the distant Alps. The return takes us along the same route as the ascent.
